Exhibition promoting social harmony opens tomorrow
at HKCEC

    The following is issued on behalf of the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education:

    Members of the public are invited to an exhibition entitled "Social Harmony for a Better Tomorrow" to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Booth 2B26 and 2B28, Hall 2, Hong Kong Book Fair 2005) from tomorrow (July 20) to July 25.

    Jointly organised by the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education (CPCE) and the Home Affairs Bureau, the exhibition aims to promote inclusiveness and harmony, with a view to building an integrated civil society.

    It will feature publicity materials on social harmony and a range of teaching materials and publications on civic education.

    A launch ceremony will be held tomorrow at 2.30pm at the booth, with the Chairman of the CPCE, Mr Daniel Heung, as the officiating guest. Entertainer Shawn Yue will be appointed as the exhibition ambassador to promote the message of social harmony.
