The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Beijing on Thursday (June 23) to take his oath at a ceremony presided by Premier Wen Jiabao on June 24.  Premier Wen will present the instrument of appointment to Mr Tsang.

Accompanying Mr Tsang will be the Secretary for Justice, Ms Elsie Leung; the Secretary for Constitutional Affairs, Mr Stephen Lam; the Director of Information Services, Miss Yvonne Choi; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Robin Ip, and the Senior Special Assistant, Mr Chan Kin-ping.  Mrs Tsang will also accompany Mr Tsang to Beijing.

Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on June 24.
