Candidate numbers determined for EC subsector
by-elections

    Polls will be held on May 1 for by-elections in the nine subsectors of the Election Committee (EC) in which the number of candidates exceeds the number of vacancies. The by-elections are held to fill existing vacancies in the EC, which will elect a new Chief Executive on July 10.

    The order of the names of candidates on the ballot papers for each contested subsector was determined by drawing lots today (April 17) and reads as follows:

Textiles and Garment Subsector (1 vacancy)
