Transcript of the SETW's meet-the-media session

    Following is a transcript of the Secretary for Environment, Transport and Works, Dr Sarah Liao's stand-up briefing today (March 11):

Reporter : About Mr Tung's resignation....will there be any changes to....policies?

Dr Liao : I feel very sad that he has to leave at this stage. I think he is one of the kindest people with great loyalty, and also he has ability to really look far ahead and lay down policies that are important for Hong Kong to become a top city of Asia.

Reporter : For environment.....?

Dr Liao : And also for environment, he is very supportive that the environment is most important for Hong Kong's sustainable development. And I hope this policy will continue.

Reporter : (inaudible)?

Dr Liao : I will try my best.

Reporter : (inaudible) ..... near zero sulphur fuel?

Dr Liao : Yes, this is going to be implemented once we have done all the procedures.

Reporter : Any time frame?

Dr Liao : I think it should be somewhere at the end of the year.
