Chart 1   Movements of the Composite Consumer Price Index

The Composite CPI rose by 0.2% in December 2004 from a year earlier, same as the increase in November.  As for the average monthly rate of change in the seasonally adjusted Composite CPI during the latest 3 months, it was +0.1% in December 2004, same as that in November.
