Transcript of SHPL's media stand-up

***********************************

Following is a transcript of a media stand-up by the Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands, Mr Michael Suen, after attending a conference on geographic information system this (December 9) morning.

Reporter: What is the latest development of releasing document relating to the Hunghom Peninsula? What is it about? When will it be released?

Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands: The developer has agreed to release all those exchanges of correspondence of this particular subject. And I welcome their decision because it enables us a chance to hand over the correspondence to the Housing Panel of the Legislative Council. So that members of the Panel can see for themselves the content of the exchange of documents. So that they can understand whether some of the points which are bothering them are given a clear explanation in the series of correspondence.

Reporter: When will it be released?

Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands:I think it can be released very soon because there aren't many letters and I expect it to be released in a matter of days.

(Please also refer to the Chinese portion of the transcript.)
