The Financial Secretary has appointed Professor Lui Yu-hon and Mr Lok Yuen-ming, Lawrence, as members of the Insider Dealing Tribunal to inquire into possible insider dealings in the listed securities of Easy Concepts International Limited (now renamed 21 CN CyberNet Corporation Limited) and Easyknit International Holdings Limited in 2000.

Appointment of the two members has been made pursuant to section 15(2) of the Securities (Insider Dealing) Ordinance (Cap. 395). Professor Lui is the Director of Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional and Continuing Education of the Open University of Hong Kong. Mr Lok is the Chief Executive Officer of CSI Investment Management Limited. Both are familiar with the operation of Hong Kong's financial markets.

They will sit on the Tribunal under the chairmanship of the Honourable Mr Justice McMahon, Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court.

The preliminary hearing of the inquiry will start at 9:00 a.m. today (December 3 2004) at the Insider Dealing Tribunal on 38th Floor of the Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
