A 22-year-old man was sentenced to 160 hours' community service order for possession of child pornography at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts today (September 28).

The court heard that officers of the Technology Crime Division of the Commercial Crime Bureau conducted an operation against child pornography since March 1 this year. The man was one of those arrested in the operation. A total of 6 012 images of child pornography were found in his computer at his home at Hoi Shing Road in Tsuen Wan.

The man pleaded guilty to the charge on September 13 and he was sentenced to 160 hours' community service order at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts today.
