A 32-year-old man was sentenced to 240 hours' community service order for possession of child pornography at Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts today (September 16).

The court heard that officers of the Technology Crime Division of the Commercial Crime Bureau conducted an operation against child pornography since March 1 this year. The man was one of those arrested in the operation. A total of 3 476 images and six video clips of child pornography were found in his computer at his home at Fung Mo Street in Wong Tai Sin.

The man pleaded guilty to the charge on August 26 and he was sentenced to 240 hours' community service order at Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts today.
