The Government will today (May 17) release the report by the Independent Panel of Inquiry on the Harbour Fest.
The full text of the report in English and a Chinese summary will be available on the Government webpage (www.info.gov.hk) at 4pm.
Starting tomorrow, copies of the executive summary, in Chinese and English, will be distributed to the public at the district offices of the Home Affairs Department while stocks last.
The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, appointed the two-member Independent Panel on December 12 last year to look into the Harbour Fest event. The Independent Panel submitted its report to the Chief Executive last Saturday.
