The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department advises consumers to stop using the electric aromatic lamps that were offered as free gifts to customers by Lo Hong Ka Birdnests Wholesale Ltd from February 13 to 20.

In the course of the department's regular surveillance, it found that the lamp's exposed electric wires were not adequately insulated, posing the risk of electric shock to users. Subsequently, prompt action has been taken to coordinate with the company to arrange the recall.

The lamps, in either pink, green or blue glass, had no brand name, model number, or rated voltage and power.

Consumers are advised to return the lamps to Lo Hong Ka Birdnests Wholesale through the designated collection centres as soon as possible. The company will offer other free gifts in exchange.
