Mr Richard Luk will assume the post of Tsuen Wan District Officer tomorrow (December 1), succeeding Mr William Yap.

Mr Luk joined the Administrative Service of the Government in 1986. He has served in various Government posts, including the Buildings and Lands Department; the Civil Service Branch; the Monetary Affairs Branch; the Education and Manpower Branch; the Trade and Industry Branch; the Wong Tai Sin District Office; the Planning, Environment and Lands Branch; the Planning, Environment and Lands Bureau; the Economic Services Bureau; the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau; and the Joint Secretariat for the Advisory Bodies on Civil Service and Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service (JSSCS).

Mr Luk's last posting was an Assistant Secretary General for the JSSCS.
