Following is the transcript (English portion) of a media session by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Donald Tsang, after addressing at the seminar hosted by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hong Kong this (November 21) morning:
Reporter: Mr Tsang, what is the Government's response to the terrorist attack in Turkey?
Chief Secretary: According to intelligence, Hong Kong is not a destination of terrorism. Of course, we remain very vigilant, we are well prepared and we are going to step up our defenses. But we are also in constant contact with the international intelligence network, to ensure that we are well informed, and on the basis of intelligence gathered, we are continuing review our own security arrangements, and make sure the system here is well proven, and our citizens, businessmen are well protected. I am sure Hong Kong will remain a safe place and one of the safest places to do business. Thank you.
