The Trade and Industry Department (TID) announced today (November 14) two measures in connection with the implementation of the CEPA trade in goods from January 1, 2004. The measures include the application procedures and conditions for issuing the Certificate of Hong Kong Origin-CEPA, and the arrangement for Hong Kong manufacturers to make requests in 2004 for implementation of the next phase of zero tariffs for imported goods of Hong Kong origin by the Mainland.
