The Police will implement special traffic arrangements in the vicintiy of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) Phase II for the National Day Flag Raising Ceremony tomorrow (October 1).

The Flag Raising Ceremony will be held at the HKCEC Phase II at 8 am tomorrow.

The special traffic arrangements, which are meant to regulate traffic and maintain a smooth traffic flow throughout the ceremony, are as follows:

A. Road closure:

Expo Drive, Expo Drive Central and East will be closed to all vehicular traffic except authorised vehicles from 6.45 am to 10 am.

B. Drop-off and pick-up points:

Guests' vehicles will drop off and pick up passengers at the junction of Expo Drive and Expo Drive East while spectators' coaches will drop off passengers at Expo Drive Central and pick up passengers at the junction of Expo Drive and Expo Drive East after the event.

C. Suspension of bus stop, taxi stand and parking spaces:

The bus stop, taxi stand and public bus parking spaces on Expo Drive East will be suspended from 6 am to midnight.

The taxi stand and the private bus pick-up/drop off area adjacent to Wan Chai Ferry Pier Bus Terminus will be suspended from 6.45 am to midnight.
