The Home Affairs Department's Building Management Resource Centre (BMRC) (New Territories West) will organise a free workshop on "Points to note when Incorporated Owners taking over management from building management companies" by the end of next month (July).

A representative from the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies will brief participants on matters concerning building management that are of special concern for newly-formed owners' corporations (OC), such as building maintenance, security arrangements, OC accounts and balance sheet, as well as applications of deeds of mutual covenant and cleansing contracts.

Owners and tenants of private buildings, office-bearers of OCs, members of Mutual Aid Committees and personnel of building management companies are invited to attend the workshop which will be held on July 29 (Tuesday) from 7.30 pm to 9 pm at the BMRC (New Territories West), first floor, Chau Hop Shing Building, 4 Chung On Street, Tsuen Wan.
