Eleven public holiday clinics will open on Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day on Tuesday (July 1) from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm to provide general outpatient services, the Department of Health said today (June 29).

A spokesman for the department urged the public to make full use of the clinics, particularly the extended afternoon sessions, in order to avoid unnecessary queuing at the accident and emergency departments of public hospitals during the holiday.

The 11 public holiday clinics are:

Hong Kong Island
