The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa was deeply saddened to hear the death of a ward attendant who had been infected with SARS while looking after patients in the Prince of Wales Hospital.
"She has displayed the highest level of selfless devotion and will be remembered by the whole community," Mr Tung said.
"My deepest condolences go to her family."
