Following is the transcript (English portion) of the media session given by the Financial Secretary , Mr Antony Leung, after chairing the Task Force on Employment meeting at the Central Government Offices (West Wing) this afternoon (April 16):
Reporter: How much you expect this will cost the government to introduce relief measures?
Financial Secretary: The government is considering a number of options particularly relating to the relief measures that we will introduce to tackle the economic situation in relation to the (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) SARS problem. We are considering quite a number of options obviously we are also taken into account the possible financial impact. Right now we have not decided on the final package. We hope that we can announce the measures pretty soon. When the measures are announced, then obviously we will tell you what the financial implications should be.
