Police appeal to public for the information on a fatal traffic accident in which a 82-year-old woman was killed in Yau Ma Tei on September 2.

At about 7.50 am, a light good vehicle was travelling along Parkes Street in Yau Ma Tei towards south direction. When reaching the junction with Bowring Street, it turned right into the westbound of Bowring Street and reportedly knocked down the 82-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious injuries, the woman was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead on September 5 at 7.53 am.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are proceeding.
