The Judiciary today (July 19) announced the appointment of Mr Douglas YAU Tak-hong as Permanent Magistrate. The appointment will take effect from July 22, 2002.

Mr Douglas YAU Tak-hong was born in Hong Kong in 1967. He obtained LL.B. from the University of London in 1993. In 1994, he was called to the Bar in United Kingdom and the Bar in Hong Kong. He was in private practice since 1995.
