The Financial Secretary has appointed Messrs Hui Sik-wing, Joseph and Pang Hon-chung as members to the Insider Dealing Tribunal to inquire into possible insider dealings in the listed securities of Stime Watch International Holding Limited (now known as Medtech Group Company Limited) during 1997.

Appointment of the two members was made pursuant to section 15(2) of the Securities (Insider Dealing) Ordinance (Cap. 395). Mr. Hui is the sole-proprietor of Hui Sik Wing and Company, an accounting firm. Mr. Pang is the Director of Finance and General Manager of Lotus International Ltd. Both are familiar with the operation of Hong Kong's financial market.

They will sit on the Tribunal under the chairmanship of Mr Michael McMahon, Deputy Judge of the High Court. The preliminary hearing of the inquiry will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, 22 April 2002 at the Insider Dealing Tribunal on 38th floor of the Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
