Following is the transcript of the media session by the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, after he officiated at the Opening Ceremony of the Buddhist Po Kwong School's new campus in Fanling today (April 19):

Reporter: I have one question on the ministerial system. How do you respond to the discontent expressed from the public right now on the system?

Mr Tung: I first articulated about the accountability system two years ago and I repeated it during the Policy Address last year. We have listened very carefully to the views of the public and I would have thought that the public at large support the accountability system.

Reporter: Why do you see they support it?

Mr Tung: Read the newspapers. Thank you very much.
