The Financial Secretary has appointed Messrs. Michael Sze Tsai Ping and James Wardell as members to the Insider Dealing Tribunal to inquire into possible insider dealings in the listed securities of Siu Fung Ceramics Holdings Limited during 1996.

Appointment of the two members was made pursuant to section 15(2) of the Securities (Insider Dealing) Ordinance (Cap. 395). Mr Sze is a Director of KGI Asia Limited. Mr Wardell is the Managing Director of CCIF Corporate Advisory Services Limited. Both are familiar with the operation of Hong Kong's financial market.

They will sit on the Tribunal under the chairmanship of the Hon Mr Justice Lugar-Mawson. The preliminary hearing of the inquiry will be held at 4:30pm on Wednesday, 30 January 2002 in Room 702, Tower Two, Lippo Centre, 89 Queensway.
