The Government has released today (December 5) an information document to Legislative Council Members to facilitate their discussions with the Financial Secretary during the 2002-03 Budget consultation sessions which will start next Monday (December 10).

The document contains background information on the Budget, including the principles guiding the preparation of the Budget, and charts on expenditure and revenue.

Members of the public who wish to gain access to the document may visit the Finance Bureau's website (www.info.gov.hk/fb).
