Following is the transcript (English part) of the stand-up session by the Financial Secretary, Mr Antony Leung, at the West Wing lobby of the Central Government Offices after meeting representatives of eight political parties today (November 13):

Question: (What has been discussed? Did you talk about the fees and charges?)

FS: We didn't talk about fees and charges, we only talked about the proposals made by the eight parties, obviously we had a lot of exchanges. What we would like to do is actually to receive a lot of ideas. We would like to consider all of these in conjunction with the consultation that we are going to do with regard to the Budget. Unfortunately we did not arrive at any conclusion so it was a bit disappointing, but anytime when the parties would like to talk to the Government, we would welcome such recommendations.
