Policy Address publications will be available to public

Copies of the 2001 Policy Address to be delivered by the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, in the Legislative Council on Wednesday (October 10) and other related publications will be widely distributed to the public after Mr Tung concludes his speech.

The full text of all the publications will also be available on the Policy Address webpage (http://www.policyaddress.gov.hk/eindex.htm).

Copies of the Policy Address and a Policy Objective Composite Book will be available while the stock lasts from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm at 19 Public Enquiry Service Centres of the Home Affairs Department, the Government Publications Centre and a counter set up by the Marketing Office of the Information Services Department at Murray Building.

Copies of a leaflet containing the highlights of the Policy Address will be distributed at a number of public places from 4.30 pm onwards.

In addition, copies of the leaflet will be distributed to tertiary institutions and secondary schools for students from Thursday (October 11).

The outlets and time for the distribution of the leaflet on October 10 are listed below:

* 19 Public Enquiry Service Centres of the Home Affairs Department in 18 districts from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

* Government Publications Centre, Low Block, ground floor, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Admiralty, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

* counter set up by the Marketing Office of the Information Services Department on ground floor of Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

* eight Government Offices from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm:

North Point Government Offices

Trade and Industry Department Tower

* five Kowloon-Canton Railway stations in Hung Hom, Kowloon Tong, Sha Tin, Tai Po and Sheung Shui from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

* HSBC Main Building, 1 Queen's Road, Central, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm ;

* Times Square, Causeway Bay, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm;

* Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm; and

* 55 shopping centres of the Housing Authority from 4.30 pm till the closing time of the centres:
