Judgments of various levels of courts, handed down as far back as 1993, will be made available on the Judiciary web site, the Judiciary spokesman announced today (September 29).

"At present, interested parties can browse through the Judiciary web site for all judgments of the Court of Final Appeal handed down since its establishment in 1997.

"From tomorrow onwards, members of the public can in addition gain access to judgements delivered by the Court of Appeal of the High Court, Court of First Instance of the High Court, District Court, Family Court and Lands Tribunal," the spokesman said.

"This further enhancement will enable court users, legal professionals, academics and interested members of both the local and international communities to have ready and easy access to court judgments through the internet," he noted.

"The Practice Directions will also be available on the same web site,"he added.

Interested parties are invited to visit the Judiciary web site at www.info.gov.hk/jud.
