"Concert in the Park 2001", jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Consulate General of the Philippines, in co-operation with the Hong Kong Musicians Union, will be held on May 27 (Sunday) from 1pm to 6pm at the Hong Kong Chater Garden. Admission is free.

This annual event has a history of 16 years starting from 1986. Performing at this year's concert will be Hong Kong Musicians Union Brass Band, Hong Kong Musicians Union All-Star Band, the Banana Band of Bar City, Jun Dacuno and the Marriott Band, Arnold Pineda and Karla Pineda with the Kayumanggi Dancers, and Red Rose Band.

MC of the show are Vilma Gardiner and Henry Lobrin.
