The Lands Department announced today (December 14) that the tender for the Inland Lot No. 8955 at Sai Wan Ho Ferry Concourse had been awarded to Yieldway International Limited at a tendered price of $2,430 million.

A spokesman for the department said eight other submissions had been received when the tender closed at noon on December 8.

The other tenders in alphabetical order are:

(1) AP Jade Limited;

(2) Cherrybrook Limited;

(3) Delight View Properties Limited;

(4) Glory Base Investments Limited;

(5) Jackpot International Limited;

(6) Overseas Rank Limited;

(7) Perfect Sun Properties Limited;

(8) Super Town Investments Limited;

"The Central Tender Board has approved the award of the site to the tenderer who offered the highest bid," the spokesman said.

The site, which measures about 12,200 square metres, is designated for non-industrial purposes, excluding godown, petrol filling station and hotel.

The developer is able to build a gross floor area of not less than 80,000 square metres and the development must be completed on or before September 30, 2006.
