Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Wan Chai and Kowloon Bay tomorrow (September 10) evening to facilitate the counting of vote in the Legislative Council Elections.

Wan Chai

The following arrangements will be implemented in the vicinity of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai between 10 pm tomorrow and 6 am the following day (September 11).

1) Expo Drive East north of its junction with Expo Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

2) The bus terminus and taxi stand at public transport interchange outside the HKCEC Phase II will be suspended.

Kowloon Bay

Special traffic arrangements to be carried out in the vicinity of the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre (HITEC) are as follows:

1) The 10 motorcycle parking spaces in Wang Chin Street and the goods loading area in Wang Kee Street will be suspended between 8 pm tomorrow and 3 am the following day.

2) Except for emergency and other authorised vehicles, Trademart Drive and the westbound carriageway of Lam Hing Street between Wang Kwong Road and Wang Chin Street will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 10 pm tomorrow until 3 am the following day.

3) All vehicles wishing to enter HITEC car park will be diverted from Kai Cheung Road to Kai Fuk Road, Wang Kwong Road and then Wang Chin Street.

4) Except for emergency and other authorised vehicles, all vehicles are not allowed to turn left into Wang Chin Street from Kai Cheung Road and not permitted to turn left into Lam Hing Street from Wang Kwong Road and Wang Kee Street.
