The acting Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Michael Suen, makes the following statement:

"I would like to join the Chief Executive in expressing my profound sadness over the death of Senior Immigration Officer , Mr Leung Kam-kwong, who died this evening after sustaining injuries during performance of duties in the arson attack on the Immigration Department.

On behalf of the colleagues in the Civil Service , I express the deepest condolences to his family members. The Government will render every possible assistance to them at this sad moment"
