The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, will resume duty on October 25 (Monday), a Government spokesman said today (Thursday).

Mr Tung will return to Hong Kong this evening following a visit to the Mainland. He will continue his leave in Hong Kong until October 24 (Sunday).

While Mr Tung is on leave, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Anson Chan, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
