The following is issued on behalf of the Provisional Urban Council:

The Provisional Urban Council and the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China (VBAHK) announced today (Friday) that refund arrangements were made to ticket holders who were unable to attend the "10th Asian Senior Women's Volleyball Championship" at Hong Kong Coliseum on 26 September due to the hoisting of typhoon signal no.8.

Patrons with intact tickets may refund from 11 to 24 October 1999. Those who bought tickets from URBTIX may get their refund during office hours at the following URBTIX outlets listed below:

a. Hong Kong Coliseum (10 am - 6.30 pm daily);

b. Queen Elizabeth Stadium (10 am - 6.30 pm daily); and

c. Hong Kong Cultural Centre (10 am - 9.30 pm daily).

Special offer or group ticket holders can obtain their refund at the office of the VBAHK (Room 1007, Sports House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Hong Kong) during office hours (Monday to Friday between 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday between 10 am to 1 pm).

No refund will be arranged for the free tickets distributed by the VBAHK to schools, companies or other organisations.
