Policy Address publications will be available to public

     Copies of the 1999 Policy Address to be delivered by
the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, in the Legislative
Council on Wednesday (October 6) and other related
publications will be distributed to the public after Mr
Tung concludes his speech.

     The full text of the Policy Address will also be
available on the Government Home Page at website
http://www.info.gov.hk.

     From 4.30 pm on that day, copies of a leaflet
containing the main points of the Policy Address will be
distributed at nine MTR stations, three KCR stations, all
District Offices of the Home Affairs Department, shopping
centres of 49 housing estates of Housing Authority, the
Government Publications Centre, and a counter set up by
the Marketing Office of the Information Services
Department at Murray Building, Central.

     In addition, copies of the leaflet will be
distributed to secondary schools for all students through
the Education Department on Thursday (October 7).

     Copies of the Policy Address and a Policy Objective
Composite Booklet will be available only at District
Offices, the Government Publications Centre and the
counter of the Marketing Office.

     The locations of the leaflet distribution outlets are
listed below:

* Mass Transit Railway stations in Central, Causeway Bay,
Tai Koo, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong,
Kwai Fong and Tsuen Wan;

* Kowloon-Canton Railway stations in Hung Hom, Kowloon
Tong and Sha Tin;

* 18 District Offices of the Home Affairs Department;

* Government Publications Centre, Queensway Government
Offices, Low Block, ground floor, 66 Queensway;

* counter set up by the Marketing Office of the
Information Services Department on the ground floor of
Murray Building, Garden Road, Central; and

* shopping centres of the following 49 housing estates:
