In response to press enquiries concerning a newspaper report which suggests that the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, is to meet representatives of the Universal Studios during his visit to the United States, a spokesman for the Chief Executive's Office said today (Wednesday) that no such arrangement had been made.

The spokesman said, "The Chief Executive will begin his visit to San Francisco and Silicon Valley today. In San Francisco, Mr Tung will call on the Mayor of the City and meet with business and community leaders. He will visit a number of information technology companies in the Silicon Valley."
