Written and directed by Jiri Srnec, founder of the Black Light Theatre of Prague, on the basis of a story by J. M. Barrie, Peter Pan will be presented with the magical technique of "black light", an effect produced by ultra-violet light to give white or light coloured material an unearthly glow.

The art of "black light" goes back many centuries with its origin in Asia where emperors watching puppets performing magical tricks behind black velvet curtains. The trick was later used in fairgrounds and other places of entertainment to make objects appear to float on air.

Jiri Srnec is not only the rediscoverer of the "black light" technique but also the artistic director, choreographer and sometimes composer of the Black Light Theatre which initial stage of success was at the Edinburgh International Festival in 1962. Since its creation in 1961, the company has taken part in 44 international dramatic festivals and 155 international tours covering Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia.

Literally anything is possible in the Black Light Theatre. Promptly book a seat and you will sail through the dark and enter another dimension where excitement, fantasy and surprise await. You will meet the Lost Children, the notorious Captain Hook, and of course the crocodile which goes tick-tack, tick-tack at his heel.
