Miss Ng Yuet-lau, has followed great masters Zhao Shao-an and Huang Chun-pik and has practiced painting for more than 20 years. Her works are mainly on paintings from nature, giving special attention to colour and ink flows.

Her paintings not only display vitality and boldness plus a trace of implication, but also show her simple, powerful and refreshing brush style. Using a well-knit presentation and a perfect fusion of physical features and nature, she has opened up a new realm of the Lingnan School.

In recent years, Ng travelled through famous mountains and rivers around the world to derive inspiration from nature. She has been Zhongshan banana woodlands where she extracted the essence from the scenery and incorporated it into her masterwork "Banana Woodlands in Bloom under the Moonlight".
