Removal of Immigration Department's Tsuen Wan branch offices

A spokesman for the Immigration Department announced today (Thursday) that its five branch offices in Tsuen Wan, which handle the documentation of local residents as well as registration of births, deaths and marriages, will move to Waterside Plaza in Wing Shun Street starting next Monday (March 22).

"The five offices are the Immigration - Tsuen Wan Office, Registration of Persons - Tsuen Wan Office, Tsuen Wan District Births Registry, Tsuen Wan District Deaths Registry and Tsuen Wan Marriage Registry," the spokesman said.

"They are currently situated at the Tsuen Wan Ferry Pier along the Tsuen Wan Waterfront."

The new addresses and telephone numbers of the offices/registries are as follows:

(a) Immigration - Tsuen Wan Office:

Units 11-20, Ground Floor

Phase 2, Waterside Plaza

"These offices will continue to provide service from Monday to Saturday during normal office hours," he added.
