The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, has spoken to entertainment celebrity Mr Alan Tam in an in-depth interview on "Tough It Out", a radio programme initiated by The Outstanding Young Persons' Association to encourage listeners to remain upbeat and positive in the face of adversity.
The programme will be broadcast on Sunday (January 3) from 10 am to 12 noon on Metro's 997 Hit Radio (FM 99.7-102.1).
Mr Tung had talked about his upbringing, his experience in the private sector, his role as Chief Executive, Hong Kong's economy and the future outlook. He had also talked about personal experiences during hard times and the factors that had helped him overcome very difficult situations in the past.
As for Hong Kong, Mr Tung hoped that Hong Kong people would keep up their fighting spirit, which had helped us overcome numerous difficulties to become what we were today.
