Four men arrested for conspiracy to defraud

Officers of the Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) today (Saturday) arrested four men suspected to be connected with a complaint of fraud against the management of GKC Holdings Limited.

The four, aged between 36 and 50, were arrested for conspiracy to defraud and using false instrument.

Enquiries revealed that the complaint was related to suspicious transactions amounting to $23 million.

During the investigations, CCB officers also raided nine premises comprising residential units and companies, which were believed to be in connection with the case.

The arrested persons have been released on Police bail and have to report to the Police next month.

Investigations by CCB are proceeding.
