105 nominations received for Legco election

A total of 14 nomination papers from 14 candidates for
the Legislative Council election in May were received
today (Wednesday).
After deducting two withdrawals, the latest number of
nomination papers received totals 105, involving 154
candidates. Peter Chan Po-fun withdrew his nomination for
the Election Committee Constituency, which was submitted
on April 17. He today submitted a nomination paper for the
Accountancy Functional Constituency.
The nomination period is running from April 9 to 24.
