Road transport is also a major sources of RSP emission. It contributed to 31% of total emission in 2006. After implementing a series of control measures, namely, the tightening of vehicle emission standards from Euro I in 1995 to Euro IV in 2006, the incentive scheme to replace diesel taxi with LPG in 2000, the incentive scheme to replace diesel minibus with LPG/ electric in 2002, and the incentive scheme to install particulate filter at pre-Euro diesel vehicle from 2002 to 2005, RSP emissions from road transport have decreased in recent years.
